Darren has been a strong force in transforming Noblesville, not only as an architect and City Council Member, but also as an artist. He has a passion for making a difference. Darren has conceptualized and carried out the artwork at locations throughout the community, including Forrest Park and Noblesville's historic downtown.
Darren has also been the driving force behind creating and executing several successful events and projects in Noblesville. These include: Noblesville Main Street’s Thursday market, which evolved into Meals from the Market, a great example of alley and lost space activation; CanStruction, a non-perishable food sculpture event that has donated tens of thousands of cans to local food pantries, and has been instrumental in transforming the annual Duck Race into a Festival celebrating the White River.
As a member of the City Council, Darren serves on the Plan Commission, Architectural Review Board, Finance Committee, and Downtown District Committee.
Darren is also active in the community as a Board Member for Nickel Plate Arts and Keep Noblesville Beautiful. He is an active member of the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, Noblesville Noon Kiwanis, and Noblesville Lions Club.
